The National Procurement Authority on behalf of DA Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat has invited tender (International Competitive Bid) for the procurement and supply of training aid equipment for dabs planning and capacity support project in Afghanistan.

The Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat, Government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has received fund from World Bank under Afghanistan Reconstruction Trust fund (ARTF) towards the above project.

The last date for tender submission is Aug 29 2016.

APBF Lauds Plan to Build Rail Link with Iran, Afghanistan

The Pakistan government is making concrete deliberations towards building modern rail tracks and refurbishing the existing ones for direct and transit trade with Afghanistan and Iran, the ‘All Pakistan Business Forum’ (APBF) has appreciated this trans-national venture and expressed its intent to utilize the proposed rail-link infrastructure to optimize the trade potential with the friendly neighboring countries. A South African business delegation recently came to Pakistan with an interest in undertaking this large-scale project. The delegation offered its support to Pakistan in terms of funding, rail-infrastructure development, technology transfer, training of human resources and provision of logistics for different projects.

Iran invites Indian investment in projects worth $8 billion, offers stake in Imam Khomeini Airport

Iran has invited India to invest in infrastructure projects worth $8 billion following the lifting of the sanctions imposed by the West and offered the country a stake in expansion of the second phase of Tehran’s Imam Khomeini international airport. Besides, the Persian Gulf country has invited India to invest in the 220-km rail link between Rash and Astara in northwestern Iran which will complete the International North South Transport Corridor and make it operational by linking Iran with Central Asia and Eurasia. Iran has also invited India to construct a rail link between Masad in northeastern Iran and Herat in Afghanistan.
