PGCB to Construct More Grid Sub-Stations

Power Grid Company of Bangladesh planned construct four grid sub-stations in Bhaluka, Mymensingh, Barearhat (Mirsarai) and Ramganj to strengthen the national power grid. It has signed agreement with joint consortium of Energypac Engineering Limited and DAEWOO of Korea for the construction of all four 132/33KV stations within the next two years. The sub-stations will be constructed at a cost of Tk1.0630 billion under PGCB’s ‘National Power Transmission Network Development Project’. JICA is providing fund for the project.
